UX is not just about creating eye-catching interfaces
While I know there’s still much to learn on my UX journey, I’ve embraced these essential skills and consistently applied them to create thoughtful solutions.
Strategic Thinking
Each business has a unique identity and core values. So, decisions must be made based on what the business prioritizes, plus, time-frame, budget and technical limits.
Brand-Identity
It's necessary to study what type of service or products the business is offering, the price range, the scale of the business and so on, before jumping into the design phase.
Cross-functional collaboration
Previous collaborations with developers, taught me to ensure design proposals remain feasible within technical constraints. My aim is always to balance design ideals with business restrictions.
Design systems
Apple's human interface guidelines and Google's Material Design, taught me to ensure consistency. I've had experiecne in using UI kits, re-usable components, clear documentations and annotations to ease readibility for the team of developers and designers.
